Dear Attendees,
We would like to provide you with a legal explanation regarding the postponement of the event, as well as express our gratitude for your understanding during this challenging time. We understand that there may be questions regarding refunds, ticket transferability, and the need for re-registration, and we aim to address these concerns with empathy and transparency.
First and foremost, we want to clarify that the event is postponed, not cancelled, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the event organizers. Specifically, a labor dispute at the intended hotel venue has resulted in an extended strike, which has necessitated a temporary halt in ticket sales and the implementation of new dates for the event. As part of our commitment to ensuring a seamless experience for all participants, we are currently in the process of securing an alternative hotel with confirmed guestroom availability before announcing the rescheduled dates.
In regards to refunds, we regret to inform you that, per our refund policy and as stated in the ticket descriptions, refunds are not offered for this event. However, we fully understand the frustration and inconvenience caused by the postponement and are committed to addressing any individual concerns regarding ticket transferability. Rest assured, your current tickets, which are listed as Will Call, will remain valid for the event, irrespective of the new dates. There is no need to re-register or take any further action at this time.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work diligently to finalize negotiations with the hotel and minimize any further delays or disruptions. We want to assure you that once the contract is secured and all logistical arrangements are in place, we will make a comprehensive announcement promptly to keep you informed of the revised event details.
